I further wish to add that parking seemed to be a huge problem..there
seemed to be an obvious
VIP hierarchy..many a discreet doctor/NRI accomplished person went
about quietly with a finger to their lips, perhaps enjoying the anonymity
of their presence. There was also a difference in dancer versus a singer
receiving a compliment. A dancer was surrounded by a few well-wishers and
students falling at their feet versus a singer who seemed to be a stand
alone persona. If there was any obvious marketing savvy, it was the canteen
food providers who went about taking discreet surveys of their food service
and giving out their name cards at request. As a general member of the
audience, these points stood out in my mind.
