in case you thought that this was a one-off example of mean and vicious behaviour, listen to this.
my singer Roshini, of the Padma Seshadri sisters fame,was headed to Bharat Kalachar for a season kutcheri. When they arrived at the venue, Mrs. YGP received them with surprise saying that someone from their house had called one hour ago saying that they had fever and hence could not sing that day!
and so we are all artistes creating, it seems, moments of truth and beauty!!!!!????
and so it goes..
