I rather disturbing incident occurred on the day before my Sabha performance in Chennai very recently. Someone claiming to be me rang the sabha manager and rudely demanaded that the perfoamce be re-scheduked to a later time, knowing of course that this is impossible and that this would result in the performance being cancelled. Fortunately the sabha manager concerned had the good sense to to refer the matter to my guru who immediately asked me if I had in fact rang the sabha. We were able to inform the manager that the call was from a msichief-maker and performace went ahead as scheduled.
