To commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between India and Japan, the Dept of Posts issued 2 stamps in se-tenant pairs on April 26, 2002 at a value of Rs.15 each. One depicts Kabuki, an ancient dance of Japan and the other depicts Kathakali dance form of South India. Varieties of facial makeup are shown separately in the margin of the stamp sheet. |
