Japanese peformers of classical Indian dance

Is it just me or has anybody been noticing the number of Japanese performers of classical Indian dance? There are so many Japanese performers of classical Indian dance. It is mind-boggling as to how many Japanese performers of classical Indian dance there are. I think that Japanese people are really interested in Indian culture.
