dance arangetrrams

I am a Bharatanatyam teacher based in Montgomery, Alabama. Some of my students are ready to perform their Arangetram. I would like to know from teachers, if they charge a fee for training the student for an Arangetram or do they let the parents decide regarding the Guru Dakshina.
