ICCR is part of the Indian Government, and they spend their budget in the way the Indian Government does.
They promote only politically well-connected dancers most of whom are far beyond their prime.
ICCR state that "Artistes are placed in Proficient, Established, Outstanding and Lecture Demonstration categories on the basis of merit"
I wish it were so! Ask them what is "Established", and in what political party.
