 I heard that most Bharatnatyam dancers whose aesthetic tastes have been honed within a certain bani loose their ability to appreciate other styles, and start considering their moves as "clumsy", "incomplete" or "overdone", and abhinaya as "odd" or "inadequate". In view of this, how do they manage to judge other style's dancers at dance contests, for example???
