Hi everyone. Last September, I saw kalakshetra's performance Spanda
at the Natya conference, which was amazing. Today, through Narthaki
I
found that one of the songs used was Charishnu, and I bought it on
iTunes. It is such a cool song, with it's pounding rhythms and then
it's
intense slow downs. I decided to have some fun and dance to it (using
my own choices of adavus). My question is what catogory does this
music fall into when danced (ie thillana invocation) doesn't really
fit
into any catogory. Any thoughts?
