By the time most Americans were 5-6 years old, they didn't know what Bharatanatyam dance was. Most Americans aren't exposed to Indian culture. You can't blame them for not knowing. That does not mean they're lazy. I feel that dancers tracel to the US because they love dancing and spreading their culture
