 What qualifications should a dance critic possess to offer constructive criticism? Most of us appreciate that it may not be necessary to have learned dance to offer comments on a dance program. However, are there
credentials that one should have to be a legitimate critic? As a rasika, I look to critics to pose thought provoking questions and offer advice based on their analyses and experience in the art. I ask fellow
rasikas as well as experienced dance critics to offer their advice on the attributes of a strong critic.
