 You may be unaware that, de facto, many private secondary schools (mostly in South India) and most colleges ALREADY employ dance teachers. I think there are already more than 10000 such dance teachers throughout India. This number is growing very fast, so it is a positive tendency.

"About traditional dance items being given western flavours", it will be the same as the English language being given the Indian accent/flavour: the westerners will find it hard to understand, and often just will laugh at it.
