 I peresonlly think that if there are ways to protmote Indian CLASSICAL dANCE, not filmy stuff, than it's great for the arts. However, an Idol Dance show like American Idol puts things like Bharatanatyam and other art forms on an "entertaiment" platform which is not good. I guess as long as works are kept traditonal then it's good to promote Indian Dance forms through TV media and competitions.
