 I am in an argument with another dancer about how *exactly* to do one's hair & flowers. I have found it impossible to find a consensus among fellow dancers/teachers, and find no good photos of the back of the hair online.

I have been told that there should be a bun HIGH at the crest of the head, around which flowers are wrapped, and the rakkodi in the middle of the bun. But how high should these flowers be? This other dancer claims the circle of flowers should almost lay on the top of the head (towards the back), creating a sort of "hat" of flowers (not as bad as it sounds, but I don't know how else to describe it). I think it should lay further on the back of the head.

Also, can one use those false hair "donuts" like you often see in kuchipudi?

Can anyone give an exact description? Or is there no such a thing as a standard way?
