Dhimahi - Dynamic Meditations on Laya, a three-day festival
celebrating rhythm, music and dance, conceptualized and crafted by
Chithra Muralidaran and Madurai R Muralidaran, presented by
Nrithyakshethra Dance Academy in collaboration with Aalaap, was held at
Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai, on November 23, 24, 25, 2018. Centered
around laya, this is a first of its kind concept ever to be staged, with
five creative and complete Bharatanatyam margams created, composed and
choreographed in five unique talas - Sankeerna Matyatalam, Chaturasra
Dhruva talam, Kanda Druva talam, Kanda Matyatalam, Tisra Dhruva talam.
