Veiled in the bosom of a nursing mother, I caress the ash, sparkling in thin air! (This painted poem was inspired after witnessing the Kathakali recital of classical dancer Kalamandalam Rajasekharan during the dance festival 'Remembering Rukmini Devi' on Feb 23, 2013 at Kalakshetra, Chennai.
