Padmaja Suresh performs at Sikkim

Padmaja Suresh and disciples Aparna and Minal of Kalpataru Kalavihar, Bangalore, performed on Feb 15, 2008 at the Raj Bhavan, Sikkim, before an august audience including His Excellency, Mr.Sudarshan Agarwal, the Governor of Sikkim. 

The program comprised of Bharatanatyam, traditional and thematic dances, and a special glimpse on the Buddha. The show was appreciated and given prominence by media. The artistes were felicitated by the Governor.

Prior to this show, Padmaja had a research oriented tour of the mystical and esoteric land with visits to Buddhist monasteries and tours close to Indo-China border, over 13,000 ft. of height and amidst snow-capped mountains. The Himalayan valley during the last stages of winter and beginning of spring is also lush with flowers.
