The Absence of PRESENCE is a thought-provoking performance commissioned by NCPA with a landmark collaboration between the visionary and internationally acclaimed Kathak exponent Aditi Mangaldas and the Symphony Orchestra of India. Through the language of Kathak, contemporary movement and orchestral music, this spellbinding performance journeys into the depths of conflict, exploring what is lost and the human spirit that continues to hope, imagine and create beauty against all odds.
