Devika. Title: Rukmini Devi Arundale, Arts Revivalist and Institution Builder. Through a ppt and video screenings, Devika will bring alive the magic of Rukmini Devi. The book will be released by Dr. Karan Singh YOUNG DANCERS FESTIVAL 6:30pm: Bharatanatyam performance of Varnam by Vaishnavi Srinivasan and Nivedha Harish, disciples of Guru Roja Kannan (When the Prince of Wales visited India in 1875, he attended a Bharatanatyam performance at the Royapuram Railway station in Madras. Dancer Tanjore Gnyana danced the Useni Swara Jathi. That dance, taught by devadasis to Lakshmi Vishwanathan, was then taught by Lakshmi to Vaishnavi and Nivedha.
