 Soorya Performing Arts presents 15th American Natya Festival American Natya Idol Competition April 26-28, 2024 St Louis, MO January 31, 2024  SOORYA PERFORMING ARTS, a not-for-profit organization - devoted to Classical Dance, Music, and Theater from India - presents the 15th American Natya Festival & American Natya Kala Conference. Dates: April 26 - 28, 2024 Venue: Clayton High School Auditorium, #1 Mark Twain Circle, Saint Louis, MO 63105  Prathibha Prahlad  Dr. Padmini Sridhar American Natya Kala Conference is an educational dance related conference. Many issues of Indian classical dance will be discussed. It will be participated by dance scholars. Expected guests are Prathibha Prahlad, Dr. Padmini Sridhar, Dr. Tulasi Ramachandra from India.  Hema Rajagopalan Dr. Alice Bloch, an authority on Modern dance, Maya Chadda, Hema Rajagopalan, and many other senior Gurus from USA will be participating. It will be beneficial to dance students and dance enthusiasts. Asha Gopal Senior Guru Asha Gopal will be honored with LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. The Missouri Arts Council, a state Agency of Missouri, and the Regional Arts Commission support this event. American Natya Festival's IDOL COMPETITION will be conducted in 5 cities this year giving a national performance chance to youth of USA. This competition helps students to embark on a mesmerizing journey to perform all across USA and in India. It will be conducted in cities like St. Louis, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, and more.
