The 19th edition of the DRISHTI NATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL 2024 celebrating Indian dance forms will be held on Saturday, 20th January, 6pm, at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bengaluru.

A consistently successful event since its inception, the Drishti National Dance Festival (the brainchild of Bharatanatyam and Bharatanrityam dancer Anuradha Vikranth and her husband TM Vikranth) is now a benchmark for dance festivals in Bengaluru.

19th edition of the DRISHTI NATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL 2024

The 19th Drishti National Dance Festival is titled Nritya Sandesha, showcasing the human values and principles that we must uphold for the betterment and growth of society through the medium of dance. Each ensemble performing will present productions that are thought provoking and will leave a deep impact on the audience. The motive at Drishti has always been to use dance as a medium of entertainment and education and today through this theme they endorse these social and morals values.

On the occasion, the DRISHTI SRESHTA PURASKAR will be conferred on Bharatanatyam Guru M R Krishnamurthy for his invaluable contributions to the field of Indian classical dance.

Drishti Art Foundation
Established by Bharatanatyam dancer Anuradha Vikranth and her husband T M Vikranth from Bengaluru, Drishti Art Foundation is dedicated to nurturing, promoting and propagating classical arts.

  • Drishti Art Centre: currently trains several aspiring students in Bharatanatyam. MARGA DRISHTI - under this wing of the centre, Anuradha Vikranth also imparts training in the Movement vocabulary of Natyasastra - a pedagogy conceived and reconstructed by her Guru Dr Padma Subrahmanyam

  • Drishti Dance Ensemble is a performing unit of Drishti and also a platform to promote young talented dancers.

Drishti Dance Festival is noted for creative presentations, stellar performances, pioneering publicity and overwhelming audiences
