 Smitalay presents Sanjukta Panigrahi Yuva Mahotsav Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Auditorium, 6pm August 25, 2023 Mumbai August 15, 2023 Smitalay, started by Odissi Guru Jhelum Paranjape in Mumbai has been celebrating the SANJUKTA PANIGRAHI YUVA MAHOTSAV for the past nineteen years. Out of 78 applicants, the following eight artistes have been chosen to showcase the different classical dance styles of India in this Mahotsav. Rupali Kadam, disciple of Guru Jhelum Paranjape (Odissi) Ayana Mukherjee, disciple of Guru Vanashree Rao (Kuchipudi) Gauresh Shetkar, disciple of Amruta Paranjape from Pune (Kathak) Chitra Warrier, disciple of Udyogamandalam Vikraman Pillai (Mohiniattam) Krishnendu Saha, disciple of Guru Sharmila Biswas (Odissi) Aparna Shastry, disciple of Guru Radha Sridhar (Bharatanatyam) Akash Mallick and Pinki Mondal present Marga Natya (now being reconstructed by Piyal Bhattacharya) Tickets for this show will be available on book my show.
