School of Performing Arts, HSNC University, Mumbai Bachelor of Performing Arts (Dance/Music/Theatre) Applications open HSNCU is a state cluster university comprising H.R. College, K.C. College and Bombay Teachers' Training College, Mumbai. It is launching the School of Performing Arts (SoPA) with courses at under-graduate, post-graduate and doctoral levels. All the programmes include courses in Music, Dance and Theatre. The admissions for Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) are currently open. The courses offered are in Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Hindustani Classical Music, Hindustani Swaravaadya, Tabla, and Drama and Theatre Studies. Applicants need to have qualified their 12th/HSC exams (or equivalent) and there is no upper limit. The courses are a combination of theory and practice, aimed to equip the students to be industry-ready. Graduates of the BPA course can choose to become professional artists, art managers, art critics, researchers etc. The curriculum has a global outlook while being firmly rooted in our traditional heritage. This skill-based programme promotes life-long learning and can be done along with another undergraduate course as a second Bachelor programme.
