| Kattaikkuttu Sangam organizes Workshop for children April 12-16 & 19-23, 2021 Kanchipuram On the occasion of World Theatre Day (27 March), the Kattaikkuttu Sangam announces an exciting performing arts WORKSHOP especially for CHILDREN.   This 10-day long workshop will boost your self-confidence to speak and sing in public (in Tamil), move around with ease and speed, work together in a team with other young performers -- and all this in a fun, Kattaikkuttu way. At the end of the workshop you will be able to trust your voice and speak up (loud), perform Kattaikkuttu's rhythms, accompanying body language and movements. You will also have acted as a King, Queen and Clown and learned how to put on Kattaikkuttu's exquisite make-up. The workshop will be held from Monday April 12 to Friday April 16 and again from Monday April 19 to Friday 23, 2021 at the Kuttu Kalai Kudam in Punjarasantankal Village (8 km outside Kanchipuram Town proper). On each of these week days classes will start at 10 AM and continue until 1 PM.
