| Attakkalari presents Workshops on Silambam & Devarattam Dec 16-18, 2022 Bangalore  Workshop Alert: Learn Silambam & Devarattam from an exponent. K Nellai Manikandan, exponent and teacher of traditional folk dance forms of Devarattam, Oyillatam, Karagam, Thappattam and Silambam returns to Attakkalari to conduct a three-day workshop on Silambam and Devarattam. A diploma holder in Folk Art from the Tamil Nadu Government Music College, Manikandan started teaching dance when he was 21. Today, he is known for implementing contemporary teaching methodologies to impart effective training in these traditional folk art forms.
