| Attakkalari presents Kalari Spirit By Agasthyam Kalaripayattu May 11 & 12, 2024 Bangalore  Join KALARI SPIRIT by Agasthyam Kalaripayattu on 11 & 12 May, 2024, hosted by Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, Bangalore. Facilitated by Gurukkal Dr. S. Mahesh, this 2-day Kalaripayattu workshop will introduce participants to the 126 years old legacy of Agasthyam Kalaripayattu. During the course of the workshop Gurukkal Dr. S. Mahesh who is a fifth-generation martial artist will guide participants to observe and imbibe the intricate art and movement of his practice in their bodies. While focusing on body conditioning and flexibility training, the sessions will also briefly touch upon practical self-defence techniques tailored for real-life situations. All participants above 12 years of age are welcome. No prior training or experience necessary.
