 Srinidi presents Annual Arts Festival August 13 & 14, 2022 Chennai August 6, 2022 Divya Kasturi's organization SRINIDI celebrates 15 years with the Annual Arts Festival. At: Narada Gana Sabha Mini Hall on 13th and 14th August at 6pm.  The festival presents Srinidi Award for Creative Excellence to senior photographer YOGA. Felicitations by Girija Raghavan. Following that are performances by 5 young male dancers (as it has been one of the aims of SRINIDI to support male professionals - Divya being a student of late Guru Udupi Laxminarayanan) "Sangam Voices"- Bharatanatyam performance conceived and curated by Dr. S. Raghuraman and Deepa Ganesh (Artistic Director, Upasana Arts), Music - Dr. Vanathi Raghuraman featuring: Anandaraj and Shabin Bright (disciples of Dr. S. Divyasena) Sundaresan Pandurangan (disciple of V. Balagurunathan) M. Srinivasan and A. Sudharson (disciples of Dr.Sreelatha Vinod) This project is especially dear to Divya Kasturi as her connect with Sangam poetry began with Dr. Raghuraman through Deepa Ganesh during the lockdown and wanting to support the visibility of Tamizh poems, she took up this endeavour. The second day features students of Vipanchee, disciples of Dr.Priya Jayaraman followed by a multilingual music rendition themed on Independence Day by Devie Neithiyar - daughter & disciple of Guru Dr. T.V.G. |
