 Shambhavi School of Dance's Dance Jathre Shankaraa Foundation, 10am to 9pm April 9 & 10, 2022 Bangalore April 6, 2022 Shambhavi School of Dance, headed by Guru Vyjayanthi Kashi, is back with the 10th edition of its signature dance festival - dancejathre, India's unique dance fair. The two day dance fair is scheduled on 9th and 10th April 2022 at the Shankaraa Foundation, Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru (Next to Doddakallasandra Metro Station) from 10am to 9pm on both days. After a two-year virtual event mode, we are happy to bring back the glory of live events with a two day celebration offering Dance Competitions, Workshops, Performances and more. So what is special about dancejathre 2022? - Competitions for both Junior and Senior Category, solo, duet and group The winners of the senior group category are given an opportunity to present their work on the main stage as part of the performances along with a cash prize. - This edition features performances of dynamic dance exponents of Namma Bengaluru along with their groups. - A variety of workshops including classical, folk, contemporary 3 hour intensive workshops to facilitate participants to learn a complete composition within the given time of two days - Since this year happens to be the 75th year of India's Independence, the host team of Shambhavi School of Dance will present a Kuchipudi feature titled 'Shantipath' as part of the evening performances, taking the audience on a brief journey of Karnataka's role in the Indian Freedom Movement.Below is the complete schedule of dancejathre 2022.
