11th Naada Bindu Festival

The 11TH NAADA BINDU FESTIVAL (NBF) features the best of the best, from performances and artist-reflections by globally acclaimed artists who have graced the NBF stage over the last decade. Carefully selected from archival footage, this presentation will recreate the NBF magic not only through performances, but also snippets of wisdom harvested from interviews and art-talks. These will be presented over 7 days as 90-minute-long evening events dedicated to music and dance.

MUSIC ENCORE - curated and hosted by Pramodini Rao
Dates: 10, 11, 13, 15 & 16 Feb, 7pm to 8.30pm IST
25 classical Hindustani and Carnatic performances covering both instrumental and vocal genres of music.

DANCE ENCORE - curated and hosted by Ramaa Bharadvaj
Dates: 12 & 14 Feb, 7pm to 8.30pm IST
An array of 9 performances of themed montages, excerpts from grand productions, dance-theatre, and remarkable solos from Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Odissi repertoires are presented with entertaining anecdotes and illustrative back-stories.

Navarasa in Ramayana by Dushyant Sridhar, a young prolific public speaker (Upanyaskar) on topics related to Sanatana Dharma.
The Yantra Dances-A look at Classical Indian Dance as a parallel Yoga by Mohiniattam dancer Mandakini Trivedi.
Dhrupad: Musical Substance, Style and Spirituality by Pt. Dr. Ritwik Sanyal, an outstanding Dhrupad singer, composer and writer as well as an academician, researcher, and guide.

Discourse on 'Shri Rama Hare Stotram' and -Rasa, Rasika and Rasagna' by Swami Tejomayananda, the inspiration behind the Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula as well as the annual Naada Bindu Festival.

The Naada Bindu Festival acts as a therapy in all ways and addresses the heart, the soul as well as the mind. As part of the lifestyle experience, there will be guided Meditation sessions that would help you relax and focus on your goals.
Meditation and Life with Swami Swaroopananda, Chancellor of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth and Global Head of Chinmaya Mission.
Music Meditation with Acharyamitra Paroksh Sujay, a seeker, guide and friend for youngsters; Happiness Ambassador and Yoga teacher.
Sargam Meditation with Pramodini Rao, Director at Chinmaya Naada Bindu Gurukula

A refresher for students of the arts, general knowledge for art enthusiasts, and fun for all! Interestingly conceived and presented by a group of volunteers, these are definitely 'not-to-be-missed' sessions.
