Urmila, thx for your inquiry
I enjoyed your comment very much. If you manage to leave your email
to me somehow and after my PC is working again properly ( I lost a HDD
with content by dropping it to the floor) I can send you my unfinished
manuscript for my understanding of the yatis.
godofpathos kindly put the 1979 filmclip
Apsaras dancing in Indra Sabha
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4rYpQ7_Zac
for display. This is the sort of vision you would get for enligthenment,
but I absolutely disagree with the content. I follow a scientific archaeological
research and found that Urjvasi ? ( Urv Ashi) was likely a human and queen
to Indra, a human- given birth to their children. This applies to her alone
and I cannot say to any other mythological beings like apasaras, gandharvas
etc. In the vedas Indra was a human god, whatever that is.
Perhaps we can discuss further after pondering my manuscript?
