Let's not pretend: when the "top" (most promoted) modern Bharatanatyam "dancers" die, who can even remember them after a few days of their death? I am sure that if you had once watched a extraordinarily wonderful dancer, his death would have paralyzed your life. Otherwise, with all these mediocre fusions called "classical", who cares?
