The Vazhuvoor style is characterized by grace and fluidity in movement-- lasyam over tandavam. Vazhuvoor Ramiah P. once said that in this style, even in the adavus there is bhavam. The school does not stress angles and lines as much as some of the others. Abhinayam is also less subtle than in other styles, with the lokadharmic mode sometimes prevailing over natyadharmi. I don't know much about the Dhandayuthapani style, sorry.
