There is a Kathak school in BesantNagar and the teacher is the multitalented Smt. Preeti Ghosh. It is diagonally opposite the Church. If you go there, you can see the board and ask the watchman. She used to dance with Sri Uday Shankar and is quite aged but if you inspire her, she can do magic. Good luck!
