Well, the website says that for families whose income is more than 3 lakhs per annum, the fees are Rs.600 PER MONTH. (and there are 3 classes a week, each class of 2-3 hours duration!). 12 classes for Rs.600. That is Rs.50 per class or just over a dollar!
A dollar for class in Madras and TWENTY dollars for an overseas student?
