Then do explain why Ms. Valli and Ms. Sarukkai are so obsessed
with
stardom. Do you know them personally? Or are you just inclined to
making assumptions? "I can just tell" isn't good enough here.
The fact of the matter is that many great artists (in any discipline)
are
indeed divas. This is a well-known fact. Also common knowledge is
that some of the best artists are the ones who do not let fame go to
their heads and remain humble. But so what? Should the divas not get
good reviews if they put on a good show? And I still do not see what
this has to do with Samanvaya. Somehow you have it in your head that
the production, one that apparently took 16 years to conceptualize
and
execute, was done for fame. That's not very fair, and pretty ignorant
on
your part.
This is a discussion board, but if you're going to keep making
assumptions without any proof or real knowledge of what you're
talking about, people will just think you're a bitter and jealous reject
dancer. You may not be, but that is how you are portraying youself.
There are things to learn from the big names, whether they be humble
or arrogant. Pick and take away the good from each one.
