new names for dance writing this december season

I am delighted to read the comments and observations of two new writers for THE HINDU this December dance season. VV RAMANI and SARASWATI are refreshing voices to counter the pale and unimaginative writing that has dominated the dance pages. Maybe the state of too many sabhas and too many dances has forced THE HINDU to expand its roster of writers. Whatever be the case, I am happy that readers will get a chance to hear the views of two individuals who are artistes in their own right and who hold a visual vocabulary of watching and particpating in dance and music, as well as interacting with important dancers over the past 25 years.
