It has been a favourite of mine and I recently watched a fabulous interpretation of it by Anita Ratnam at the recently concluded IDA dance festival in Chennai earlier this week.

It has made me love the raga and the song much more. The recorded voice of Sikkil Gurucharan was also outstanding and a lesson to all dancers that great music and intelligent dancing is the need of the hour today!
