I share your thoughts. I saw Rama Vaidyanathan’s performance in Bangalore and Chennai recently. She shares her craft with complete abandon and devotion. I cannot forget her Alarippu that she performed using Mayura hasta and gati. It was like watching a Peacock dance in style and vigor using all the stylized classical movement vocabulary. She also works with a cohesive set of musicians including Karaikudi Shivakumar, G. S. Rajan and others who lend her total support.
