 anita ratnam is the one dancer i know who is supportive of young talent. she is not bothered about who says what about her dance or about anything. she has created this wonderful site and also THE OTHER FESTIVAL which showcases young and emerging talent. while you may be correct about self promotion, young people also should learn how to promote themselves.. it is a changed world today.. nobody sits around and waits for invitations to come. you have to make them happen. good luck!
