I am terribly confused as to what the Melakartha origin is for Ragam Nalinakanthi. I have come across both Sarasangi and Shankarabharanam as the root ragam. Which is it ?since the Dhaivatham is missing in Nalinakantham, either could be the Melakartha.
Popular answer is Sarasangi but the Ganamrutha Varnamalika book says Shankarabharanam.
