I absolutely agree with Anita:
1. the best group work DOES NOT COME OUT OF ANY OF THE THREE SCHOOLS
2. Putting a student on stage in one year is a travesty of the art form
This is why none of the 3 abovementioned schools let their students perform solo items just after 1 year of training.
And this is the reason why such a large number of excellent (top) young dancers doing solo performances come from these 3 schools.
I would add that there are many other excellent gurus: A.Lakshman, Parvati Ravi Ghantasala, Chitra Visweswaran, Lakshmi Ramaswamy, the Narasimhacharis, Shobana, Urmila Sathyanarayan, malathi thothadri, sudharani raghupathi, jayanti subramaniam, yogeshwari, padmini ramachandran, and others.
After all, it is a matter of taste
