 I don't know how they generally feel about dance, but I have heard about many Indian dance programs there. Also, I saw Saiko Yamamoto (student of A. Lakshman) perform at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha this past season. Her dance was so inspiring. The stamina... wow!!! I'm glad this art form is reaching audiences far and wide, and even drawing in performers.

Oh, and sitting next to me was a German woman and a Scottish woman, both students of a Kalakshetra alum. I'm guessing dance has some sort of following in these two countries as well (esp. Germany).
