I am interested in studying Kathak and Flamenco. I once heard that the latter dance style was derived from Kathak, is this true? I notice how in Kathak, the dancers are intensely passionate at times. Like, you can see in their eyes that they have fire in their hearts. It's like that with Flamenco too. I also noticed how both Flamenco and Kathak dancers clap their hands occassionally.
