On Nov 1, 2014 MASTERS OF ABHINAYA featured four of the UK's most respected and distinguished South Asian dance artists - the ultimate experience of expression in classical Indian dance. Chitra Sundaram, Pratap Pawar, Pushkala Gopal and Sujata Banerjee celebrated the rich breadth of abhinaya in a memorable event. Choreographed for the intimate setting of Rich Mix in London and inspired by the stories of India, the artists showcased their own interpretations through the art of expression. Following the performance was the Akademi Adda: an informal gathering of passionate, like minded individuals. It included a post-show discussion featuring a Q & A exploring the journey of the artists.
