SRADHANJALI, an emotive offering of the essence of Guru Debaprasad Das’s work in dance features performances by Guru Gajendra Panda and his 9 disciples under the aegis of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Centre, Malaysia, under the direct supervision of its chairman S.P. Kannan. In this 2nd Malaysian tour, they will regale audiences in SE Asia with the dynamic works of Panda’s guru Debaprasad Das on his 80th birth anniversary.

The yearlong celebration of the 80th birth anniversary of Guru Debaprasad Das in India and abroad is from 12th October 2011 to 31st October 2012. This celebration was started with Tridhara’s first Malaysia Tour from October 2011. The 2nd Malaysia tour from 26th July to 10th August 2012 will include 15 programs, which would cover entire Malaysia.

The celebration will be held on 4th September at India Habitat Center, New Delhi.

Presentation of INTERFACING (The evolution of Odissi dance from tribal, folk to present form of Odissi dance).

6TH GURU DEBAPRASAD AWARD 2012
The closing ceremony of the yearlong celebration at Bhubaneswar from 28th to 30th October 2012.

Past events
- 1st Malaysia tour from 12th to 17th October 2011
- 5th Guru Debaprasad Award 2011: Held on 23rd & 24th January 2012 at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar, the prestigious award was conferred on Dr. Minati Mishra and also four of the Central Academy awardees were honored.
- International Odissi Dance Workshop: In April and May 2012, Tridhara conducted the International Odissi Dance Workshop (based on Guruji’s typical Odissi dance works) in New Delhi, Kolkata, Parlakhemundi, Bolangir, Chhatrapur and Bhubaneswar.
- Debasmruti 2012: In this one day festival, dancers paid homage to guruji through Odissi. Talented dancers and senior teachers who are spreading this parampara on the national and international level were honored.
