Kalasagara UK proudly presents KAMBA RAMAYANAM in Paris and in London.

Usha Raghavan and her team of 18 superb dancers and 5 musicians will be presenting the great epic Ramayana based on the timeless classic written by the renowned Tamil poet Kamban of 12th century. This production has been specially choreographed for the PASSPORT TO INDIA FESTIVAL sponsored by the Mayor of Villebon, France, under the patronage of the Embassy of India, organized in partnership with Kaleidans'Scop, France.

Usha Raghavan, Director of Kalasagara UK, hails from Chennai, India, and mastered her art under eminent gurus. She is a post-graduate in Indian Philosophy from the Madras University and has performed extensively in different parts of India and many countries around the world. Usha Raghavan's perfect sense of pedagogy and wide knowledge of Indian dance and traditions have gained her the reputation as a teacher of exemplary talent. She has students not only in India but also in Italy, France, Switzerland, UK and the USA. Many of her students have blossomed into fine Bharatanatyam dancers and teachers.  Usha gives workshops, lecture demonstrations and performances in addition to master classes in London where she currently lives.
